Dear Friends of the Leo Maddox Legacy, we wish you a Healthy and Happy Thanksgiving!

Since the commencement of our work on Leo's legacy three years ago, we have supported 46 high-potential scholars in advancing their university education at the University of Washington and nationally around the country.

We are also pleased to share that the "Leo Maddox Cup Innovation Award" has added two additional awardees, Iris Kern (Year 2) and Morgan Palmer (Year 3). Alongside our first awardee, Gio Kanaan, these high-achieving students are exploring and adding to the wealth of knowledge and expertise in restoring ocean health.

We look forward to sharing more news with you in 2024 on several programs that are currently underway, and under development.
